More Scapes

I went outside today in my yard and gathered some buds from my lavender plants, onion scapes that are breaking open, some petunias and put them with reindeer moss I had. This arrangement has a vintage look to me. Here the same arrangement on a baby banana plant leaf.

These below are leek scapes.

Green onion scapes!

My husband gathered the seed pods, or scapes, to his green onions and brought some in to cook. I grabbed a bunch and took a few pictures to remember them by!

Playing with photography!

We had an over-wintered leeks and I was preparing them for the freezer, I decided to play! I love the color green with the off white that showed up on all the slices! Then I played with the images a bit with Abobe Photoshop.
Some of you will recognize the black and white from my kitchen floor cloth. And the green leaf is a placemat I picked up at TJMaxx (got a set)
